Working in the restaurant industry since coming from Guerrero, Mexico directly to New York City in 1995, I started from the bottom as a dishwasher and then, a few years later, became the chef of one of the best, well known restaurants in New York, "Brooklyn Diner."
Having the experience of working with many chefs and taking the best from each one, I decided to make my dream come true by opening my own restaurant, Cuatomate Restaurant.
The cuatomate is a type of cherry green tomato that grows in the states of Puebla and Guerrero in Mexico. Its flavor is unique and totally different from regular tomatoes. Learning the recipes from family and using only natural ingredients, once again we welcome everyone and remember "Mi casa es su casa."
